Developing a GNSS PPP Service Delivered via Iridium

The team at DDK Positioning Ltd. (DDK) recognised that there was a need for a truly independent Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Precise Point Positioning (PPP) augmentation service that would be truly independent and truly global.
The DDK team conducted market analysis and found that in order to deliver a PPP augmentation service globally from Pole-to-Pole, and remain as an independent service, they would have to deliver the service using the Iridium Satellite Communications Network.
The challenge for DDK was to develop a the GNSS PPP augmentation service transmitted to the user group via Iridium Burst.
We explore the journey of developing a disruptive GNSS PPP augmentation service delivered independently and globally.
